According to Music Mix, rapper Kanye West performed songs from his upcoming album last night at the Facebook Headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
West, dressed in a suit, uniquely performed his raps while standing on a shaky conference table and reciting them as if it were spoken word. The Facebook staff giggled at every punch line and graciously applauded and whistled after West’s performance. West recited lines such as “Kill the hypocrisy / this is an aristocracy / I’m Socrates / but my skin more chocolatey.”
He also took a more political route and performed lyrics that addressed racism. He recited, “I got called n****r on Twitter so many times ... This is the making of a masterpiece / So we broke out the chains and told our master, 'Peace.'"
Confirming that he’s back, West joined Twitter earlier today as @kanyewest. His third tweet revealed that the name of his fifth album will most likely not be called Good Ass Job.
He tweeted, “The album is no longer called Good Ass Job I'm bouncing a couple of titles around now.”
The rapper already has 69,349 followers and counting.
