Kanye West's Concert Tickets Sell Out In Seconds

Kanye West is selling out - tickets that is.

Tickets to an exclusive performance of his at Manhattan’s Bowery Room sold out only seconds after they went on sale Tuesday at noon. Fans who missed out on the original rush for the $100 tickets, were able to find a few on ebay- with the starting bids set as high as $100K.

For the bargain hunter, tickets were going for sale on Craigs list at a mere $5K. The Wall Street Journal reports that only 550 tickets were available in total for a small, intimate show with the music maven that was only announced in passing when a vocalist off Kanye’s album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy posted about it on her twitter account.

Rumor had it that he’d be performing the entire album live at his Bowery Room concert. This isn’t Kanye’s first surprise concert.

In an even smaller and more cozy venue, 200 select fans were given the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the star back in August when he took the stage at The Box on Chrystie Street.

Guests received an invite by e-mail that included a phone number they had to call to receive the tickets. Kanye then took the stage with John Legend at 1:30am.

Kanye’s newest album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was released officially on Monday.
