Kanye West's New Year's Resolution

Kanye West has been thinking of New Year's resolutions, and he thinks he found the perfect one, reported the San Francisco Chronicle. The "Love Lockdown" singer promised that he will be nicer to the paparazzi in 2009, telling TMZ, "I love you guys. That's my New Year's resolution. Me and the paparazzi."

This seems like a wise decision, since West has been plagued by paparazzi problems all year. In September, the rapper and his assistant were arrested in Los Angeles's LAX airport after smashing a photographer's camera. They were initially charged with felony vandalism, but the charges were dropped by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.

Last month, West was detained in Newcastle, England after pushing a camera into a photographer's face. He was released without charge.

Earlier this year, West mentioned how he wished photographers had to have permission before they took pictures. While this dream seems impossible, hopefully West will be able to have a peaceful new year.
