Kara DioGuardi on Adam Lambert's Sexuality

The newsest "American" Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi, discussed runner-up Adam Lambert's sexual orientation Friday on "The View". Although Adam Lambert may want America to keep contemplating about his sexuality, DioGuardi has no doubt which sexual preference the 27 year old singer chooses.

"I don't think that Adam was ever in (the closet)," DioGuardi told the ladies of "The View" Friday morning.

"View" host Barbara Walters asked DioGuardi if Kris Allen took the "Idol" title over Lambert due to America questioning whether or not Lambert is gay.

DioGuardi answered, "I hope not. Because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry, and they both had that."

Lambert always brought a unique style to Season 8 of "American Idol." He most always was seen wearing thick eye-liner, nail polish and tight pants. Reports even indicate that he has been photographed kissing other men. DioGuardi is not the only one who spoke up about Lambert's sexuality controversey.

According to People.com, Lambert stated in an interview that people who were concerned about whether he preferred men or women romantically need to "calm down." He went on to say that the most important thing was that he was being true to himself.

"You should own who you are and what you're about, and never make apologies for it," Lambert said.
