Karina Smirnoff Wants to Dance with John Stamos

Karina Smirnoff has her eye on a new dance partner for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.

In an interview with People magazine, Smirnoff revealed her desire to dance with John Stamos in the next season of the hit reality show.

“I wish to dance with John Stamos,” she says. “I wanted him to be my celebrity partner. He finished Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway and he has had enough time to rest.”

Smirnoff also said that Stamos was approached about joining the cast for the new season beginning March 22, but he declined, saying he needed a respite after his stint on Broadway that ended in November. Still, Smirnoff is holding out hope that he will change his mind.

“I am a workaholic, and I think he needs to dance with me,” she says. “I love 12 to 14 hour days of dancing, and I want to do it with John. He could be a great dancer.”
