Ryder Robinson may have a little brother or sister soon, reports the Actress Archives. Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson, one of Hollywood's most on-and-off couples, have reconciled and reportedly are ready to start a family together.
"Kate and Owen initially got back together three months ago after realizing they couldn't live without each other. Now they are ready to become parents," a friend of Wilson's told the Sun.
"Kate has been desperate for a brother or sister for Ryder, her first child with ex-husband Chris Robinson, for some time," the source added. "Kate has seen a change in Owen. He is now truly committed and is showing a new-found maturity."
Since the couple met on the set of You, Me and Dupree in 2006, they have had a rocky relationship. Immediately following Hudson's divorce from singer Chris Robinson, she was linked with Wilson. That relationship ended in May 2007.
When Wilson attempted suicide later that year, Hudson broke up with then-boyfriend Dax Sheppard via text message and attempted to return to Wilson.
Wilson's family and friends allegedly limited his contact with Hudson, but the two were seen canoodling last May. They broke up again less than a month later, but rumors of their friendship never disappeared.
"They're still friends," a source told People magazine in June 2007.
Now it seems the couple is back together, and hopefully for good. They were caught meeting several times in France while Owen promoted his movie, Marley and Me, in Paris.
"They were very comfortable with each other," a witness in France reported. "There was lots of talking going on between them, laughter."
Others do not think the relationship is very healthy. According to Star magazine, Wilson's family members are concerned.
"They are seriously worried about Kate's effect on his mental health," a source told the magazine. "She has him wrapped around her little finger, and he seems powerless to do anything about it."
