Gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton is set to mark the big 3-0 on Monday and Kate-worshippers the world over are speculating on what her party plans may include.
Grazia Magazine confirms that Kate’s sister Pippa and Prince Harry have been secretly drumming up an 80s-themed party that will be packed with great friends, cocktails and the ever popular karaoke. According to the mag the start-studded guest list includes the likes of David and Victoria Beckham. As a member of the royal family the Duchess certainly can’t be all play and no work even for her own birthday.
The Daily Mail reports that Prince William and Kate will first attend a screening of the new film War Horse and then head to a charity dinner that reportedly costs £10,000 (about $12,000 U.S.) per ticket. After she’s filled all of her royal duties her and Wills are free to party the night away. Grazia Magazine’s source said, “In many ways, this is going to be Kate's last chance to let go like she did back in the old days when she and William first met.”
Although an 80s bash thrown by Prince Harry and Pippa sounds like the party of the year, it may just be grandiose speculation. The Metro says rumors of a large party are not true and that any plans to celebrate the Duchess’s digits will be private and low-key. Boring.
What do you think? Does Kate deserve to celebrate her birthday in style or should she have a simple, low-key affair?
