Kate Middleton will not be in Vogue

Kate Middleton will not be appearing on the cover Vogue, despite rumors to the contrary.

Yesterday, the New York Post reported that Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of US Vogue, desperately wanted to put Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, on the cover.

Today, however, a palace spokesperson spoke with People Magazine, shooting down the story, saying, “There are no plans for the Duchess to do anything with the U.S. Vogue.”

According to New York Magazine, Middleton will instead be focusing on charity projects and staying out of the limelight. In fact, the Duchess is only allowed to visit one public event a month for the rest of the year.

“She knows her role is to bring a spotlight onto causes that she will do that- and when she starts, she will do it with gusto,” her spokesperson added.

Middleton will be appearing with husband Prince William at the opening of a children’s cancer center on Thursday.
