Katherine Heigl Adopting a Baby Girl?

An online news site reported that the star and her husband will adopt a child this week.

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, will adopt a 10-month-old girl from Korea this week, RadarOnline.com reported.

"She is thrilled," an insider told the online news site. "She and Josh are so happy."

The baby's name is Nayleigh and will be called "Leigh" for short. Heigl and Kelley have been in the adoption process for the last six months. The couple has wanted a child for a long time.

Heigl has a sister who was adopted from Korea in the '70s.

Awhile ago, Heigl told USA Today that she was done with the idea of giving birth herself and that she didn't think it was fun or necessary.

The actress's publicist has not yet confirmed the adoption.

In addition to becoming a new mother, Heigl, who is taking a break from her television show, reportedly will begin filming her new movie, "Life As We Know It." The film will most likely premiere sometime next year.
