Katherine Heigl Doesn't Intend to Quit "Grey's Anatomy"

Katherine Heigl admits that she's indefinite about whether her character lives or dies, but told USA Today she doesn't plan on leaving the series for a while.

Is the time at hand for Katherine Heigl's character to bite the dust? Rumors continue to circulate the Internet that she could be the next to leave after Isaiah Washington, who was cut from the series in 2007 consequently for using an anti-gay slur against Grey's Anatomy costar T. R. Knight.

Heigl, known as Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on the show, told reporters, "As far as I know, when we go out this season, everybody's still going to be around."

IMDb documents she has been on the show for 95 of its 100 episodes.

Izzie Stevens is stricken with brain cancer and Heigl has admitted that she doesn't know whether her character will pull through or not.

"It's very weird. I keep trying to get it out of them and they kind of shrug their shoulders and shake their heads at me and I don't know: Is that good or bad? Am I dead or am I alive? Where is this going?" she told USA Today.Heigl says that she enjoys Izzie and has no plans or desires to leave, unless of course, creator Shonda Rhimes pulls the plug.

Thus, the saga continues.
