Katherine Jackson Returns To Court Monday
Katherine Jackson will be back in court Monday to fight for some control over her son's estate, reports CNN.
Jackson's challenge of her son's estate holders' behavior will be deliberated in a Los Angeles courtroom, the media outlet states.
According to CNN, Katherine Jackson's lawyers filed a petition last week claiming Jackson's estate administrators, John Branca and John McClain, were "intent on keeping her in the dark" regarding deals and negotiations.
Jackson's lead attorney, Londell McMillian, mentioned "a suspicious circle of relationships" concerning Branca and McClain, who were given temporary control of the estate until Monday's upcoming meeting, says CNN.
The Jackson family's matriarch is asking the judge to command Branca, McClain and others to go under oath and answer questions about business agreements to decide if they are "fit and able" to control the singer's estate, reports CNN.
NewsOk.com says that Jackson's estate is described to be worth an estimated $500 million, but current value is $100 million, and could potentially increase to $200 million or more with financial restructuring.
CNN reports that Branca has refused to show Jackson her son's contracts with AEG without agreeing to keep them confidential.
Branca and McClain were also served with a 19-page demand for documents.
