Katherine Jackson Wants A Delay In The Hearing For Michael's Estate
Katherine Jackson is not wasting any time in trying to close her son's affairs.
According to The Associated Press, Katherine, 79 has obtained temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson's three children, and has filed to become sole executor over his estate worth more than $500 million. The court date that is supposed to determine whose hands Michael's estate will be in is supposed to be July 6, but Katherine wants the date to be delayed.
Also according to the AP, the reason for the delay is so that they will be able to look more into Michael's affairs and make that there is not another will.
It turned out that Michael had a will that was written in 2002 with his then lawyer, John Branca, and that he was listed as one of the two executors in the five-page document. The other executor is music executive John McClain.
