Usmagazine.com reports that Katie Holmes has taped a guest appearance on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance, " on Monday. She was seen arriving at the CBS Studio lot where the competition is staged every week.
"They are making it seem like a huge Broadway production," said a source. "It's a massive set."
Holmes has reportedly worked really hard on the performance, even though the producers are making it seem as though it was more or less spontaneous.
"She is working with the choreographer Tyce Diorio," the source said. They want it to seem like she waltzed in and put it together very quickly, but that's really not the case. This has been a longtime in the making."
Producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe, however refused to confirm this fact, even though he claims that he'd "love" to have Holmes on the show.
"I'm not making any comments at this point," he said. "It is just a rumor for now."
Holmes has previously danced on a guest spot on ABC's "Eli Stone."
