Looks like Katy Perry and Russell Brand are ending things on a clean note.
People reported the former wife and husband are finalizing their divorce without all the nasty battles other A-list celebrities experience during their divorces.
Their Los Angeles Superior Court divorce filing states that they have reached a “comprehensive written settlement of all issues.”
The papers were filed Tuesday.
According to the Herald Sun, the “Last Friday Night” singer even signed her name on the papers with a smiley face in her last name.
Of course their divorce isn’t as complicated as others because they have no children, but the 27-year-old even requested that there be no discussion about spousal support and that Brand does not owe her any money and vice versa.
The Smurfs actress and Saturday Night Live host also asked that her maiden name be legally changed back to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.
Brand’s divorce filings also indicate he is on board with all of Perry’s requests, checking the box that states they “agree this cause may be decided as an uncontested matter" and will not be going to trial.
The two tied the knot in an elaborate wedding ceremony in India October 2010, but called it quits when Brand filed for divorce in December last year.
He is reportedly not looking to take any of Perry’s money, even though they never signed a prenuptial agreement.
