Katy Perry and Tim Tebow dating?

The tears are still fresh from the news of Katy Perry and Russell Brand's divorce, but Perry's parents are looking to the future, and they already have a new beau in mind for their daughter.

Perry's parents, both religious pastors, reportedly want to set her up with another person who's had the media spotlight on him in recent weeks, NFL quarterback Tim Tebow. According to OK! Magazine , Perry's parents Keith and Mary Hudson think that Tebow's strong religious values and adorable good boy looks are just what Perry needs after her split with Brand not even a month ago.

"Katy's mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again," a source told OK! "In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He's handsome, charming, intelligent and, above all, a good Christian."

That's definitely an understatement. Tebow is known for openly praying on the field after games, has been the subject of countless parodies joking about his religious openness and has been referred to by the press as "God's quarterback."

According to The Huffington Post, Perry's mother invited Tebow to speak at the church where Perry used to sing in Huntington Beach, Calif. while Katy will be home.

"Katy's parents watch him play all the time and think he's ideal husband material," said an insider to OK!. " He's the complete opposite of Russell." If opposites really do attract, then these two might be a match made in heaven.
