Katy Perry Checks In on 'SNL' This Weekend!

Hold onto your hats! This weekend, none other than Katy Perry will be making her SNL debut, and if it’s anything like her Sesame Street visit, viewers are in for a good time. SNL’s hitting its 36th season premiere this weekend, and Katy will be debuting alongside show veteran Amy Poehler.

Katy gave Access Hollywood the scoop on her upcoming appearance, saying, “This summer’s been so fantastic for me, so I wanted to come back with kind of like, a bit of like the end of the summer, you know, uh, celebration.”

And a celebration it will be! Katy’s excited about getting on the show, and she even wants to perform a skit! “I’m hoping they will let me do a skit,” she said, shyly. “I brought my whipped cream boobs, so if they do a sketch involving like a barista, you know, coffee making, I could be helping people out and stuff like that.”

We can’t wait to see that! Here’s hoping SNL will get Katy into a character!
