On Sunday, Katy Perry was recognized at the American Music Awards as the first female in history to have five #1 singles from the same album. Now she’s going to be bringing her musical chops to Saturday Night Live, but not as a performer.

Reuters reported the “Teenage Dream” singer will be hosting the popular late night variety show for the first time, December 10.

The last time Perry was on SNL, she was the musical guest performer for Amy Poehler and also acted in one of the sketches wearing a tight, revealing Elmo T-shirt.

And on December 10, singer Robyn (whose singing style could not be more opposite to Perry’s) will serenade viewers.

According to MTV News, Perry isn’t the first musician to both perform and host the show.

Other multitalented stars include Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Ludacris, Paul Simon, Queen Latifah and Sting.

And the 27-year-old’s experience with acting reaches far more than being married to comedian Russell Brand, who hosted the show earlier this year. In the past year alone, she’s acted in her music videos for “Last Friday Night” and “One That Got Away.” She also played Smurfette in The Smurfs and had a small role on How I Met Your Mother in February.
