Katy Perry to Marry?

Singer Katy Perry is believed to be engaged to her long time boyfriend, Travis McCoy. She was spotted wearing a diamond ring last week in Los Angeles, sparking the rumors, but has not publicly announced the engagement. Though the lovers had broken up last December over difficulties related to Perry's intense touring schedule, they reconciled in April. Perry was relatively unknown until she scored a controversial smash-hit with her 2008 song, "I Kissed a Girl." It is likely that the sudden rise in fame and PR obligations caused difficulties in the relationship, but the couple seem to be able to transcend the restrictions that fame puts on one's personal life.

Perry and Travis McCoy, lead singer of the band Gym Class Heroes, met in a New York Studio several years ago and began dating for several years.
