Katy Perry’s ‘Last Friday Night’ music video: Rebecca Black throws a house party that Katy Perry can’t remember

Katy Perry made a mini-movie for the music video for “Last Friday Night [TGIF”).”

Perry starred as Kathy Beth Terry, her early '90s inspired Sudoku and science-loving, headgear-wearing alter-ego who lives next door to another Friday lover, Rebecca Black.

The video begins where Terry wakes up with a Hangover, giving her a hard time recounting the night’s events, until she found pictures from the party online.

The video surrounds a house party thrown by Rebecca Black. It features such guests as Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Hanson, and (uncle) Kenny G, as well as Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson as Terry’s parents.

Perry’s Terry only joins the party after trying to quiet the noise so she can concentrate on her Sudoku puzzle. Black has Perry’s Terry join the party when she confronts her. There, a nerd love story unfolds with Glee’s Kevin McHale.

Terry enlists the help of Rebecca Black for a makeover in order to impress, not the nerdy boy, but the six-pack stud she spotted. But what ensues afterwards, with her teased hair and vibrant dress, is dancing, drinking, and entertainment courtesy of Hanson and Kenny G.

In the end, however,despite the messy aftermath, nerdiness prevailed when Kevin McHale's character ultimately trumped the stud and won Kathy's heart.
