Katy Perry's Valentine is Paris Hilton's Ex

The two were seen getting close in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day.

The gossip grapevine was working overtime this weekend. Singer Katy Perry was see in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day with Benji Madden.

While the rumors were swirling, a spokesperson for Perry said, "Nothing romantic happened whatsoever. They were with a huge group and Katy said he isn't her type." While the press camps are saying nothing happened, paparazzi observed them exchanging numbers after Perry's concert, and then having a nightcap at a Vegas club.

Both Perry and Madden recently ended relationships; Madden's ex is Paris Hilton, and Perry's is Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy.

Perry is a singer who has had an on-again, off-again relationship with record labels; having been dropped from three before finally experiencing success with 2004's "One of the Boys." Madden is a music producer, DJ, and a member of rock band Good Charlotte.
