The artist was arrested after another run-in with paparazzi.

Rapper Kayne West was arrested at a U.K. nightclub last night. He was detained by police early this morning, hours after an incident involving a paparazzo. Although details of the alleged assault were not made available, the 31-year-old artist was released without charge, according to the British press reports.

This arrest comes shortly after a similar event in September, when the star was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport where he was filmed struggling with photographers. No charges were filed for that incident either. A spokesperson at Mercury Records told Billboard.com that the label is not issuing a statement on the recent arrest. West is currently on his "Glow in the Dark" U.K. tour that moves on to the Birmingham NEC tomorrow and then to Glasgow SECC and Manchester Evening News Arena through the weekend.
