Keira Knightley defends her weight
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actress denied Monday that she was influenced by the Hollywood quest for thinness.
Keira Knightley, the very thin star of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," told reporters at the London premiere she has not been swayed by the Hollywood trend of becoming too skinny.
"Whatever people say about my weight, they are all wrong," she said Monday.
Dressed in an extremely low-cut, backless Gucci dress, the 21-year-old defended her appearance saying, "If you're strong and comfortable with yourself, then you're going to be fine."
Despite her waifish figure, she did add, "Hollywood is all about the way you look, and I don't think that's the healthy thing for anyone."
