Keira Knightley Splits with Boyfriend
The actress and Rupert Friend have broken up
It’s seems that it’s not quite a happy ending for Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth, or not for the actors who played them at least.
Keira Knightley and her longtime boyfriend Rupert Friend have broken up after five years together. The couple met on the set of the most recent Pride and Prejudice film in which she played Elizabeth Bennet and he played Mr. Wickam.
Knightley and Friend had been living together in London, and Knightley’s father confirmed that the pair had indeed gone their separate ways.
Knightley plans to stay busy with work. She was in last fall’s Never Let Me Go, and it was recently announced that she would be testing for a role in The Dark Knight Rises the highly anticipated third film in the Batman series.
