Kelly Clarkson's talent and style led her to popularity among the music community.
The former Red Bull girl, Kelly Clarkson is transforming from a Texas girl into a popular girl-next-door pop singer. Former Evanescence guitarist, Ben Moody, who produced part of Clarkson's album Breakaway, was receiving flak by the rock world.
Clarkson, previously a brunette, has recently changed her image by lightening her hair to blonde, but her voice still remains powerful and unique. Her catchy lyrics and newfound style makes Clarkson the popular pop icon she is becoming today.
Kelly, 23, will perform this year at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 28 in Miami, and is also nominated for three awards.
