Kelly Preston and Kate Gosselin Are Ready to Speak

Kelly Preston and Kate Gosselin will speak to women about their lives.

What do Kelly Preston and Kate Gosselin have in common? Well, they will both be speaking about their personal lives in October at the California Governor's Conference for Women, reports People.com.

The host, Maria Shriver, feels that women will benefit to hear Preston speak about the grief she went through after her 16-year-old son, Jett, passed away unexpectedly, reports the Daily News.

"If she can empower one other woman who feels like they can't get out of bed, or get through the day, whatever the loss, it'll be worthwhile sharing her story," said Shriver.

Gosselin was invited after Shriver's daughters suggested she be invited. "They said, 'Invite her, she has eight kids and the show is so interesting.'" Shriver did mention, however, that Gosselin was invited about four to five months ago, before the split with her husband, Jon, but she believes the speech by Gosselin will still be good, reports the Daily News.
