Kelsey Grammar, of Cheers and Frasier fame, and his wife are separating after a 13-year marriage.

On Thursday, the couple filed the papers for divorce at a Los Angeles court. Grammar confirmed the news via Twitter. The couple cited “irreconcialible differences.”

Grammar married Camille in 1997, and the couple has two children, ages five and eight. Camille, a former Playboy model, has asked that the judge grant Grammar joint legal custody. She also asked for the judge to require Grammar to pay her attorney’s fees and to offer her spousal support.

Grammar’s publicist has issued a statement requesting that the family be given privacy at this time. Grammar himself said that Camille should not be slandered in any way. “She is still the mother of my children and any disparagement of her will only hurt the children,” he tweeted.
