Kendra Wilkinson Faces Depression
Following the birth of her son, Hank IV, Kendra Wilkinson stated publicly that she went through depression. Sources have claimed it was either postpartum depression or it was just a regular case of depression.
The former Girls Next Door star clarified: "I'm not going to sit here and say that I had postpartum depression. I was depressed but it wasn't diagnosed as postpartum depression. But it was depression. I know because I've been through therapy my whole life."
Her husband, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett, has been trying to help Wilkinson but to no avail.
Wilkinson said that part of the problem was related to Baskett’s NFL move to Indiana, where she felt trapped and isolated due to the cold weather compared to California.
"I love running and hiking. I had a hard time being trapped inside I'd look outside and think how much I wished I could go to the beach again."
Currently with the help of friends, family, and professionals, Wilkinson is said to be well. With football season over the family has moved back to California.
