Actor Kevin Bacon was at a New York City subway station when a mugger ran off with his Blackberry cell phone, at approx. 10:50 a.m. Thursday, as stated by the Post.
Witnesses say it happened at the B, D, and E station at 53rd Street and Seventh Avenue. Bacon's spokesperson, who was unidentified, did not know for certain whose information was stored in the phone. But it is possible that the digits for Bacon's wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, are now accessible to the robber.
City Transit officers said there was no indication of subway personnel being made aware about the crime, even though Bacon dialed police. NYPD law enforcement could not verify that a report had been filed, People reports.
