Keys and White Team Up for Bond Theme

Popular R&B singer Alicia Keys and White Stripes member Jack White will collaborate on the new theme song for the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, E! Online reports.

White wrote and produced "Another Way to Die," and will also play drums on the song. The soundtrack for the film is due out on October 28, while the film will debut in theaters November 7.

The collaboration between Keys and White will mark the first time a duo has perfomed the theme song for a Bond film.

British pop stars Leona Lewis and Duffy were also rumored in contention to write the theme song, but the honors ultimately went to Keys and White.

The musicians join a long list of famous names to have performed the theme song over the years, including Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Gladys Knight, and Tina Turner.
