Kim Kardashian: 'I've Done a Good Job with Replacing Negative Things with Positive Things'
Kim Kardashian, 29, has a lot on her plate right now. She’s filming another season of the hit E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and launching what she refers to as “The Brand, which includes work-out DVDs, clothes, self-tanner, skin care products and perfume.
Furthermore, in lieu of getting paid for appearing at night-clubs, Kardashian opts for endorsement deals where she’s able to own a stake in the company she represents.
These killer business-minded instincts, she says, come from her late father. She tells the latest issue of Allure magazine, “I feel lazy when I’m not working. I learned all my business sense from my dad,” adding, “He always believed in me, and I think the last thing he said to me before he passed away was, ‘I know you’re gonna be OK. I’m not worried about you,'” CNN reports.
However, Kardashian wasn’t always this savvy when it comes to her career. She broke out onto the scene thanks to a leaked sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J, and since then has made a complete 180.
She recalls, “Not my most proud moment,” referring to the sex tape. “It was humiliating. But let’s move on. Not that I don’t think it’s no one’s business, but I think I’ve done a good job with replacing negative things with positive things.”
