Kim Kardashian will star on 'Drop Dead Diva'
Recent backlash against Kim Kardashian hasn’t stopped her from moving forward in her career. Aside from her normal Kardashian episodes on E!, Kardashian is joining Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva.
The network’s president, Nancy Duduc, announced that the show will be returning for another season. During the fourth season, Kim will have a multi-episode arc, starting with the season’s premiere. E! Online reports that the Lifetime network confirmed this information on Thursday.
Production for the new episodes, which are set to premiere this summer, will begin next month.
According to Perez Hilton, a press release described Kim’s character as “Niki, Fred’s new love interest who partners with his ex Stacy in a new business venture.”
Kim recently posted on her blog, that she is very happy to be joining the cast for the episodes.
“I am so excited to announce that I’ll be guest staring on Drop Dead Diva season four this summer!” Kim wrote on her blog, “I can’t wait to get to work with everyone on set!”
According to E! Online, the creator and executive producer of the show, Josh Berman, is also very excited to welcome Kim to the “Diva family.” After discussing Kim’s role with the Kardashian, he was impressed by her “smarts, sense of humor, and passion.”
The Drop Dead Diva family is excited to see Kim adapt in their diva world.
