Kirsten Stewart reportedly spent $12,000 on two vintage guitars as a Christmas gift for her boyfriend and fellow Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

Back on Dec. 22, Hollywood Life reported that Stewart and her father, John, had been spotted at Norman’s Rare Guitar Shop in the Tarzana area of Los Angeles, which is apparently Pattinson’s favorite guitar shop. The staff of the shop posted a series of photos showing them posing with Stewart and her father.

While a source told Hollywood Life at the time that the two picked out a new guitar for Pattinson, Us Weekly confirmed Thursday that they bought a pair of vintage guitars worth an estimated $12,000.

The Press Association reports that the two guitars were a 1959 Fender Jazzmaster and a 1947 K&F Lap Steel. Pattinson’s songs have been used on Twilight soundtracks, so clearly he is probably going to love the guitars.

The shop's owner, Norman Harris, told Us Weekly that Stewart strummed a few chords on a guitar herself while shopping. "She said 'He's gonna s--t when he sees them!’” Harris told the site.

Another source told Hollywood Life that Pattinson frequently visits Rare Guitar Shop and that the staffers know his tastes. “So everyone was happy with the results,” the source said.

Stewart and Pattinson will next be seen together in the last Twilight film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, which hits theaters on Nov. 16. Earlier next year, Stewart stars in Snow White and the Huntsman, which will be released on June 1.
