Kirstie Alley Joins the Reality TV Scene

Kirstie Alley has struggled over the past few years with weight loss. Her new show, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, will document her battle to lose and maintain her ideal weight and having a career.

“This show has been cathartic for me… shown me who I really am again and it’s really freaking funny,” Alley told OK magazine. The show will air on A&E.

She is also trying to raise her two teenagers, True and Lillie, in the action packed environment of Hollywood.

While juggling a healthy diet/exercise and her kids, she's producing a feature film, patenting several inventions, taking care of her pets and searching for love.

While attempting to lose weight she is launching her own weight loss company. The Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning actress has performed in Cheers, Look Whose Talking and Drop Dead Gorgeous.

Series premiere March 21 at 10pm. Two episodes entitled “The Tipping Point” and “Good Help Is Hard to Find” will play back to back.
