Kris Allen Album Release Date Set?

This year's American Idol winner, Kris Allen, will release his album on Nov. 17th, according to Amazon.com.

The 24-year-old has been spending the past few months touring with fellow cast members from the hit show. In between tour dates the Arkansas native has been writing and recording for his new release.

"It's not the easiest thing in the world," Allen told the Detroit Free Press about touring. "But every night is totally worth it."

Idol alum Chris Daughtry, who came on fourth place in 2006, told this year's winner to get as much sleep as he can, Allen said.

Despite being bogged down with touring and making an album, Allen still has a good relationship with his wife, who he married last September, as well as runner-up Adam Lambert.

Incidentally, Lambert will also release an album about the same time. Lambert told People.com that his album is half done and will possess a wide range of music.

"I can't wait to see people's reaction," he said.
