Kristen Bell has emotional breakdown when fiance Dax Shephard presents her with a sloth for her birthday (Video)

Kristen Bell has recently turned 31, so how did she and fiancé Dax Shephard celebrate her birthday?

The actress reveals on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she was greeted with a sloth at her home she shares with Shepard as a birthday surprise, but she had an emotional breakdown because she was so excited.

"I immediately was overcome and thought, 'There's a sloth near,'" she said during the show that airs on Tuesday, People reports. “And I didn't know how to process that because my entire life had been waiting for this moment, where I would get to interact with a sloth."

“I don't know how to compete with all this emotion," she went on to say, "so I just kind of crawl up on the bed and I'm crying so hard."

For those that are wondering, Bell is being serious about wanting to have a sloth. She said on a scale of 1-10 she was at an “11” with excitement.

CBS News reports that by the time Shephard came to get the Veronica Mars star in their room with a video camera, he caught her crying and overwhelmed with excitement.

He caught on camera his fiancé crying and asking of the sloth, “He’s coming for the party?”
