Kristen Johnston Is Getting Healthy and Gaining Weight

The actress is healthier after an unhealthy summer, saying, "I've gained 20 pounds."

Actress Kristen Johnston is feeling much better these days and even admits happily, "I've gained 20 pounds," reports Us Magazine.

A burst ulcer caused the six-foot-tall actress to drop 60 pounds, causing her at one point to weigh as low as 133 pounds, and even Johnston admits that was too thin.

That's all changed. "Now, I'm at the weight that I should be," she told Us. "I've evened out now. It's a good weight for me."

So how did Johnston get back on the road to regaining her health and weight?

"I don't have a diet routine," she confessed to Us.

The only rules she has for her diet, she told the magazine, are, "I don't eat fried crap and I don't drink booze."

Besides watching her diet, Johnston gets plenty of exercise, as she tells Us, "I exercise from walking everywhere in New York. I feel great now. I'm really healthy."

The untrue rumors earlier this summer that the actress suffered from anorexia were disheartening while she was still ill, admitted Johnston, but with her regained health comes an attitude of indifference to all the talk.

"People can't believe that an actress might actually be sick," she told Us, "At a certain point you have to say, I don't care what anybody says about me."
