Kristen Stewart: 'Breaking Dawn' Should Be Two Films
Kristen Stewart won’t reveal whether she’s Team Jacob or Team Edward, but she is on Team Breaking Dawn. The actress is championing for the final novel of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga to be split into two films.
Stewart told MTV: “It would be much more satisfying to do [two films], because we wouldn't have to drop so much of the story; it wouldn't be like, 'Well, we didn't get to do this scene, this scene or this scene.' You'd get less of that — which would be good.”
Online rumors are buzzing Summit Entertainment will split the novel – the largest one in the series – into two movies to include a majority of the material.
Stewart says the studio hasn’t reached a definite decision.
But the option was discussed at some point because Stewart knows what the tentative shooting schedule would be.
“It would be a six-month shoot [if we made two movies back-to-back], compared to a three-month shoot."
Breaking Dawn is slated to begin shooting around November.
Until then Twi-hards will get their fix when the third installment, Eclipse, is released June 30.
