Kristen Stewart Serves Jury Duty

In addition to her upcoming film about Joan Jett and the much anticipated Eclipse, Kristen Stewart has also been busy with other issues. The star recently was called to jury duty in Los Angeles where she helped to decide the verdict on a prostitution case.

A man accused of paying a law enforcement officer for sex was found not guilty. The accused had pleaded not guilty and because he did not speak English well claimed that he didn’t understand the situation that he was in. Though the case was closed without too much of an issue, other problems surrounding Stewart arose with the trial.

Apparently, a photo of the actress posing with a security guard surfaced on the internet. This put several jobs in jeopardy because of some rules that were violated relating to confidentiality of the jury.

The outcome of this incident has not yet been determined, but Stewart and the other people involved are all worried about the possibility of several people losing their jobs.
