Kristin Cavallari May Be Joining "The Hills"

With MTV's announcement that The Hills is returning for another season, despite Lauren Conrad's departure from the show, come rumors that Laguna Beach alum, Kristin Cavallari, may be joining the show next season.

A source reportedly confirmed to E! News that her presence at Heidi Montag's and Spencer Pratt's wedding was not a coincidence. Cavallari's appearance in the season finale shot is supposed to kick off her arrival at the show. Conrad and Cavallari were rivals in Laguna Beach.

The show will play up on the drama between Cavallari and Brody Jenner, who used to date, E! News said.

MTV announced that "fresh faces, new stories and shocking surprises" await fans in the fifth season of the show. Returning to the show are newlyweds Montag and Pratt, Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Justin Bobby and Audrina Patridge.
