Emmy and Tony award winner, Kristin Chenoweth, will be honored at the 28th Annual Drama League Benefit Gala.

A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Kristin Chenoweth will be held on February 6 at the Pierre Hotel located in New York City.

A number of stars will be performing a musical tribute to Chenoweth who is known for her Tony Award winning performances in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Wicked. She has also been seen in Steel Pier, Epic Proportions, The Apple Tree, Promises, Promises, as well as work she has done in film and television.

According to The Drama League, the Gala raises funds for the education programs of the Drama League Directors Project. Since 1984, talented artists have been honored for their work and passion.

Theatre Advisor reports that 400 celebrities and influential arts supporters of New York City attend the annual Gala. The benefit consists of a cocktail reception, a silent auction, and a three-course meal.

The current star of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, Nick Jonas, has joined the Gala. Other special guests include Joel Grey, Laura Benanti, Elaine Paige, Donna Murphy, Cheyenne Jackson, Debra Monk, Andrew Lippa, Marlo Thomas, Brent Barrett, Carole Shelley, Brad Oscar, Kevin Clash, Eden Espinosa, and the original and current cast members from the Broadway musical, Wicked.

The Gala will feature musical selections from Glee, Wicked, Promises, Promises, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Annie, The Music Man, and more.
