Kurt Cobain's Ashes Reportedly Stolen from Love's Home

The news comes via "News of the World."

Kurt Cobain's ashes were apparently stolen out of Courtney Love's house over the weekend, according to News of the World.

The remains of the Nirvana frontman were kept in a very secret place in his widow's home in Los Angeles, according to the paper.

The hiding place for Cobain's remains is supposedly in a "pink teddy bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair," and they were taken along with some jewelry and clothes.

Love is also in a very bad state of mind. "I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me," she said. "I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do."

Love kept a portion of the ashes after Cobain's suicide, with the rest of the remains being spread near his home in the state of Washington and at a New York Buddhist temple.

"They were all I had left of my husband," Love said. "I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again."
