La Habra Preparing for Octomom

The community of La Habra is preparing for the arrival of Nadya Suleman.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the town of La Habra is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Nadya Suleman, who recently gave birth to octuplets.

The 2,600 square foot La Habra home she will be moving into is much bigger than the Whittier home she had been sharing with her parents and her six other children.

Neighbor Ruben Pantoja told the Orange County Register, "As long as they stay inside the house... there shouldn't be any problems."

Those living around the Sulemans in Whittier had been upset about the swarms of media who have descended upon the small town. One man waved a gun in anger at TV cameras as media coverage reached a peak.

It is not known who purchased the La Habra house. Some are reporting that Nadya Suleman bought it with money she received from interviews and photo shoots whereas others are claiming her father purchased the house.

La Habra is a community of roughly 62,000 people and sits on the northwestern tip of Orange County.

Neighbor Ron Woodward told KTLA News that the kids will be welcomed saying, "It's OK. Fourteen cookies, 14 glasses of milk."

Suleman, who is currently unemployed and receives public assistance in the form of food stamps has accepted help from Angels In Waiting to provide childcare and other services to the family. The babies remain at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Bellflower, CA.
