'L.A. Ink' cancelled after fourth season

Seems Kat Von D just can’t seem to catch a break this summer.

Just months after her engagement with Jesse James ended, news broke of the cancellation of her show L.A. Ink. TLC confirmed the news to Access Hollywood Thursday.

The network released a statement regarding the cancellation of the four-season series. They stated, “The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D.”

The reality show was especially difficult for the tattoo artist this past season. It showcased her, and her ex-fiancé as they planned their wedding in great detail.

The reality star has had numerous public displays regarding the split, including walking off the set of Good Day LA after believing she would have to talk about the break up.

The series finale airs on TLC September 15, and Von D and James have just announced their engagement is back on.
