La Toya Jackson: "Michael Was Murdered"

Michael Jackson's sister believes the singer was murdered for his money.

La Toya Jackson says she believes her brother was murdered because there were four new needle marks on Michael Jackson's neck when he died, the New York Daily News reports.

"Less than a month ago, I said I thought Michael was going to die before the London shows because he was surrounded by people who didn't have his best interests at heart," La Toya told the Daily Mail. She went on to say that it wasn't just one murderer, but a "conspiracy of people" that caused the King of Pop's death at 50.

According to MSNBC.com, La Toya claimed that Michael kept $2 million worth of cash and jewelry in his rented mansion that has not been accounted for after his death. She also said that he was pressured into agreeing to perform the 50 London shows and that the conspirators, after his money, used powerful prescription drugs to keep Michael under control and away from his family.

The official cause of the entertainer's death is still being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department. The LAPD has said that his death could be ruled a homicide if the autopsy indicates that the singer was given illegal amounts of powerful prescription drugs.

The official autopsy won't be complete for two more weeks. La Toya said a private autopsy revealed the needle marks on his neck.
