La Toya Jackson's Tribute to Michael
MTV is reporting that Michael Jackson's sister, La Toya, is releasing a tribute song to Michael which will officially be released July 24. The track, "Home," has already been leaked on the internet. The song gives a shout out to her siblings, who the song was also written for.
La Toya has had small success in her music career with a few hits in the 80s such as "If You Feel the Funk" and "Heart Don't Lie." She also recorded "Just Say No" for the Reagan Administration's Anti-Drug campaign. Most of La Toya's success was assisted by Michael including her appearance in "We Are the World."
La Toya fell out of favor with her family went she released a harsh autobiography and posed for "Playboy." Perhaps "Home" will pave the way back to her family for La Toya, if they're willing to forgive and move on in this difficult time for the Jackson's.
La Toya has been working on an album since the early 2000s, which is rumored to be released later this year.
