LaBeouf Arrest Warrant Stubbed Out

Shia LaBeouf is off the hook.

A court commissioner in California recalled a $1,000 bench warrant against the actor Wednesday, after LaBeouf's attorney arrived to plead not guilty in a case against LaBeouf, according to People Magazine.

LaBeouf had been charged with illegally smoking, a misdemeanor. He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, but neither he, nor his attorney Michael Norris, made their court date. A warrant was then issued for his arrest by court commissioner Kirkland Nyby, the magazine said.

LaBeouf appeared in the movie Transformers, and is scheduled to co-star in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this summer. He has also appeared in the movies Disturbia and I, Robot.

LaBeouf's pretrial hearing on the smoking charge was set for April 24.
