LaBeouf's Hand Injuries Come to Light

Shia LaBeouf, who was involved in a rollover car accident Sunday and arrested for drunken driving, suffered serious injuries to his left hand, E! Online reports.

Michael Norris, LaBeouf's attorney, said in a statement that the young Transformers star's hand was "crushed" and will require "medical supervision until his doctors clear him to go to work."

Earlier reports said that LaBeouf would be sidelined from shooting the Transformers sequel, Revenge of the Fallen, but after further news of his injuries, there does not seem to be a timetable to his return.

A Paramount Pictures rep told E! Online that no final decisions have been made as to whether LaBeouf's hand injury will be written into the new Transformers script, but did say that the studio was willing to modify the schedule for LaBeouf as needed.
