Lady Antebellum Lead ACMA Nominations
Lady Antebellum earned the most nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards with seven, People magazine says.
The group received nods for Album of the Year, and Song and Video of the Year for their smash single “Need You Now,” People reports.
Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood follow with six nods and Taylor Swift with five, respectively.
The mag reports Swift’s nominations include Entertainer of the Year – a category voted on by fans – and Top Female Vocalist.
Representing the male side is Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and the Zac Brown Band scoring four nominations each, People reports.
Chesney and Paisley were both nominated for Top Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year, among others.
The Academy of Country Music Awards will be hosted by country veteran Reba McEntire on April 18 in Las Vegas on CBS, People says.
This year will mark a dozen times McEntire has hosted the award show.
