Lady Gaga doesn’t want to be a president, not even for a day.

Lady Gaga premiered “You and I” in a special MTV First: Lady Gaga where she took part in a Q&A session with fans.

One fan asked what she would change for the better as president. Although she has a big fan base of little monsters, the 25-year-old, though she actively tries to send a good message through her music and celebrity, she says she’d never want that responsibility.

"Well, first of all, I wouldn't want to be president for the day," she told MTV News in response to the fan question. "And I say that because I really, for myself, it's important that my message, although it has political implications, I like to keep myself separate.
"Because politics can constrain things," she added. "So our message can be completely free of any politics and we can just surge forward."

The singer did answer the question, though. She answered three things she would change as president for a day, and she answered with the crowd cheering.

“The first three things I would do: "I would find alternative uses of energy, I would make marriage equal," she said. “And world peace.”
“Well, I would do everything I could with the debt crisis,” she added. “But we all know that's going to take a little while."
