Laguna Beach, Season 3 Episode 3
This episode of Laguna opened with Tessa and Kyndra putting up Christmas lights in preparation for Rocky's upcoming Christmas party. As she hangs the lights, Tessa admits her and Chase have decided to just remain friends. His commitment to the band is more than Rocky is willing to contend with to sustain a romantic relationship.
Rocky is not the only one planning a holiday party. Cami and Kyndra also plan to deck the halls with their own soiree. As they shop, they review the guest list and they both agree neither Tessa nor Rocky will be invited. However, they do decide they will crash Rocky's party just for kicks.
Rocky's new boyfriend Alex is introduced at the party and once the party gets started plenty of the girls agree he is indeed "hot." The party seems to be running smoothly until Rocky and Cami arrive. Not long after Cami gets there, she informs Kyndra that Stephanie called Rocky's friend "dirty." Immediately, Kyndra goes to confront the girl and that's when the drama begins. Stephanie denies saying anything about Cami, but Kyndra still insists she apologize to Cami. Once Stephanie begins to cry, Rocky intervenes and calmly tries to cool down the situation. Cami continues to reiterate that she does not even know Stephanie; Rocky then asks why she is concerned about Stephanie's opinion if she doesn't even know her. Things soon calm down and Kyndra and Cami gather their friends and leave what they believe to be a "lame" party.
Tessa and Rocky choose not to crash Kyndra's party and instead Rocky goes out on a date with Alex, where he confesses his feelings for her. At Kyndra's party, Cami gives a play-by-play of the night before to whoever listens. Cameron gets teased about his relationship with Jessica and finally gets fed up and decides to head to Jessica's house. Kyndra gets upset and she and Cameron fight about it until he leaves.
Cameron uses the fight between him and Kyndra to get in good with Jessica. As they eat at a restaurant Cameron tells Jessica about his argument with Kyndra. He lets her know he didn't think it would be fair to her if he hooks up with Kyndra. Hearing that news from Cameron causes Jessica to beam from ear to ear. Little does she know Cameron tells everyone else they are not a couple and only hooked up once.
